Well I am about to take the plunge and install a corvette rear end out of a 86 corvette.
Does anybody know of anybody or web sites that have done this swap?
Any concerns or pitfalls I should watch for ?
I have installed Cordoba suspension up front.
I have all the tools and know how to use them.
Any advice would be very welcome

did you consider a jag. rearend?

 

Custom Classic trucks (I think) did this install a few issues ago, and the front suspension the next issue. It looked pretty sweet.

First I would like to thank you guys for the replying

I did look at the Jag rear ends but decided to go with the Vette.
The main reason was the fact it is made out of aluminum.
The decision was a tough one, both rear ends are trick.
Not sure if one is better than the other but the vette rear-end is
on its way, so its a mute point for me.

Thanks for the web site just what I was looking for.
I plan on taking pictures and will share when I am done.
I have a 1959 Ghia that I am currently finishing.
My truck will be next after the Ghia.
