torque value help

Hi guys
I have a 1978 f150 regular cab 4wd dana 44 axles 351m twin i beam

I can't find torque values for the tie rod and drag link

The factory Ford shop manuals for your truck will have all that information, and much more.
If you plan on doing work on your truck picking up a set of the manuals is a great investment. \

Copy and past after a quick FTE search.

"75 shop manual says 50-75 ft-lbs and then advance castle nut if needed to get cotter pin installed" for the tie rod.

Of all the front end work I've done, I've never torqued any linkage nuts/bolts. If I'm using hand tools, I just get it two hand tight and then tighten until the castle nut lines up. Most of the time, though, I use an impact wrench and just snug up the nut and then turn until the nut lines up for the pin.

+1 on this, I've done it like this forever and never had one come loose.

I think he is confusing the radius arms as twin I Beam.....78 should have a solid front axle, unless some did a bad call swap job.
