Yep, probly time for a turbo son....

Ok, long story short, my turbo been goin for a while, was hopin it would make it til after winter passed.
Knew turbo cuz i would have occasional smoke after got up to operating temps at mid throttle to full honk, but intermittent, and never too bad.
BUT, last three days, smoked like a fog machine at idle, got WAY worse as truck warmed up.
Today was worst, on drive home, was able to see just how bad it was. Smoke cleared up at third throttle, but crazy thick at idle and full honk, cant really tell if blue tinged, as its dark when i go to work, and on way home.
Got my smoke machine home and i noticed oil spots where i parked it last night from my drain hole i drilled in my exhaust (4in stack) and my bed is coated in oil drplets.
Could there b another way my oil is getting out my stack, or am i getting an early christmas present from mad turbo werks?

Sounds like what mine was doing . I was told the seals were going and it just would get worse, I opted for a powermax, I have yet to rebuild the old one. It is just sitting in my garage in the newer powermax box wishing it was a powermax.

It basically is going to come down to what i can get here the quickest. Luckily no more snow on the way for a bit, as my backup car is a 00 cavalier.

It was funny the first trip around after the powermax . My old lady neighbor came over and said she thought my valves were going that the whistle is pretty loud. I just laughed and said I know I gotta fix them valves.

Oh, i got studs. That was the one surprise i was happy with when i bought the truck.
I had a plan for the mods on the truck now that i got her running right, but i guess she just had to remind me who is really in charge

The mtw stage 1 looks like a good option but may take more time

I would look at a mtw stage 1 but it sounds like there is quite the wait for that turbo.
