No start, no wait to start light

2001 7.3 truck was running fine and idling, just died out of nowhere and will not start back up. The wait to start light does not come on. I've checked every fuse 3 times and know for sure in don't have a blown one. My guess is pcm. Will a bad cam sensor cause no wait to start light?

Usually it's a blown fuse #30 that has disabled the PCM because the fuel bowl heater has shorted out. The fix is to unplug the sensor on the fuel bowl, change fuse #30, and start the truck.

Are you sure you don't have a blown fuse?

Check the fuses (All). If you have a scan tool, see if it will communicate with the PCM. Check the connection at the PCM and ensure it has power at the Data Port. No communication often is an indication of a faulty PCM.

I checked all fuses 3 times. Fuse #30 is a 30amp right?

The last time we hooked a scan tool to it was a few months ago. It couldn't read the vin or serial from the pcm and was just a bunch of random symbols. Also had the internal memory error code, even with my chip unplugged. He said he thought the pcm was bad and didn't know how the truck was running, but that was 10k miles ago..??

Could be the PCM power relay, relay #30 in the under hood fuse box if you are 100% ( checked with an ohm meter) sure fuse 30 in the under dash fuse box is good. You can swap relay 30 in the under hood power distro box with relay 31(blower motor relay) to see if that helps and there is also a PCM diode in the underhood distro box, Diode #37.
