Cab corners were not too bad. Only one side was rusted through.

I forgot to take pics afterward but they were filled

The cab is now completely metal worked and off to the body shop

Forgot pics but TIG'ed the cab corners and patched the few holes in the firewall and floor

Nice job on the metal replacement.

How do you handle the VIN plate issue when swapping firewalls?

Same way you handle it when you change the whole cab

Looks like all the links died on me ??
Making progress on the '48. Engine is installed along with the C4. Cab is back from bodywork and paint, mounted to the chassis, bed has been test fitted and mounted. (Note to self:advise TCI front bed holes are in wrong spot).
Working on details now: parking brake cables, kick-down cable. Chuck made a prototype pulley and bracket for the Power steering. Hopefully we'll come up with a kit.

Pics below ------

I like this shot.

yeah don't know why the photobucket links are gone. I think they changed servers or something.

Heres the link if you want to see all the pics:

Almost done with this build. Waiting for a couple more body panels, distressed leather seat
First engine start-up sounded great
