Introducing....VanDOOM!!!

That's right! I done went and did it! Starting a new project... VanDOOM!! Here is what I bought:

1982 Ford E350 Ambulance
460 (20k miles on rebuild)
C6 (same)
NP205 (same)
Dana 44HD front 3" axle tubes
Dana 70 rear (20k miles on rebuild) I think this is a D70, but maybe a D60
16x7 Ford Alcoa wheels with 235/85-16 (tires are done in)

I just got this home so I only have the pics from the PO.

Warn 8274 winch on a off road bumper

The previous owner has had the rig since 95. Used as a camper right. I have a stack of receipts 2 inches thick with all the work that he has done. Some good, some bad. The interior has been gutted.
It has 2 bench seats in the back along with a table. Seats are reversible.

It needs interior work, but comes with a ton of parts. It also needs a new alternator (big ol ambulance type. Working with Blanchard Electric in Seattle to upgrade).

And tires...trying to figure out what will fit. I would like 255/85. ST Maxx maybe when they come out. They might be too tall to fit between the lower edges of the fenders. 265/75 if they will not fit.

Since I became disabled with a degenerative neurological disorder I sold all my manual transmission projects and settled on this bad dog. Going to be fun working on it with my 12yo son.

Congrats I've always wanted one not necessarily an ambulance but a e series 4x4. I'm sorry about your disorder but look at it this way its a good reason to buy new toys

Looks like a fun project! I'm a bit jealous actually.
I'm not into 4x4, but it looks cool sitting up that high. And I love the big gasser 460.
Promise us you'll give it a paint job

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the comments!

Yes it will be painted. The PO replaced the doors and hinges due to sagging and high usage and no windows.

I did buy my first parts today. Another set of wheels. Identical to what is on there. Nice shape! I will post some pics later.
