How to remove sector shaft seal?

I decided it was easier to pull the box out and work on it. I got the snap ring off but i dont know how to get the seal out. I tried drilling it and using screws but i cant get anything small enough to work. I was trying to pull the top part of the box apart and i could get it to spin by hitting it with a hammer but couldnt get it to come out. Does it just need some more spinning and prying? I tought about putting it back on the truck and trying turning the wheel but the truck isnt really running right now so i dont know if that would do anyting.

With the gearbox on the truck, start it up and turn the wheel to full lock. It will blow the old seal out. It will also make a mess, use a drain pan.
