Glove box won't open

78 f150 glove box door pushes in slightly but won't release pryed a lil but no luck I really don't wanna mess it up. Any ideas

Mine did the same thing. I used a small plastic/rubber assembly hammer I use on motorcycles and gave the button some taps. After the fourth or fifth hit it unjammed. Some 3in1 oil and she works fine.

If you can you get the WD 40 red tube in there, give it a little squirt then push in and tap button.

If not you might have to go in thru the bottom of glove box.
