my 2010 f150 with non sync non sony radio w sat cd. Its been losing power this past year. It would just cut out than come back on. The settings would be reset, but not lose station presets. The other day it got stuck on the f150 logo on the display. No radio or other function would work. Pushed power button and nothing. Started an hour later it worked normally. I do have aftermarket amps, but their direct to battery.

 

Check the ground or the wiring harness for any loose wires or the plug being loose.

 

The factory power plug to radio is untouched. I haven't touched anything on back of radio in 3 years. But you never know things come loose.

 

I pulled radio and found some loose crimps at my connections. And one was the ground. Recrimped all connections to make sure they are tight. It Fixed the crackling,so far in my front right speaker. We'll see if the power problem got solved.
