Ok. Ever since I did the 50hp ol, hypertech chip if I get down on the throtte my fuel pressure really dips. My reg is shimmed and holds 70-75lb at idle and 50 just cruising low load. It will dip to 25-30 lbs . I am actively gathering efuel parts but am curious just how low is dangerous? Its a yr old pump with yr old filter and NO leaks.it runs nice and strong but I'm curious.

I've always heard that less than around 30 will starve the injectors at WOT. I find it weird that it drops that much PSI, considering your pressure at idle is 75 (mine was shimmed and only hit 60 at idle )

I believe thats one of the benefits of E-fuel is that it supplies close to constant pressure even under acceleration. My E-fuel system is slowly coming together on the stand with the rest of the motor lol.

What is a 50hp ol? How are you measuring fuel pressure running, electronic sensor?

I ran my truck on 20 psi for a few weeks before I was able to fix the bad fuel psi. Did it harm the injectors? Only Jim will be able to answer that when/if he ever gets these. Did it still run like a stuck pig? Yes! Never noticed any difference in performance. That by no means damage didn't occur...

Old hypertech gold single program chip

it sure made a big difference in power. boost goes up very nicely! 23-25 with stock sticks.

autometer in cab fuel pressure gauge.

Im outa town and waiting on the head work, i still have to figure out where I'm taking them. The guy that built my mustang motor and that does my head work usually closed his shop in Reno and went to work at some show truck building shop. Hopefully he can still do side work out of there. If not, idk what I'm gonna do. No one around here will do ANY diesel machine work or hot tank parts because "Diesels are too dirty."

Lol! Your in a good mood today I definitely am having fun (except for the pain in my wallet and the agony of it being too empty to buy everything). Im learning a lot and will be able to say I've been through my motor top to bottom. Thanks to FTE, I'll have no problems accomplishing the build lol.
