blew a condensor to evaporator tube

in the process of removing my radiator support, I sprung a leak in the tube going from condenser to evaporator over on passenger side.
I went ahead and removed ac condenser to finish the radiator support job.
plan on reconnecting ac condenser and running the truck for awhile until I get some more time/money to replace the leaking tube.
Is it ok to run the truck like this for awhile until I get the tube replace so long as I don't switch on the ac?

also, how to I remove that tube up at the evaporator? looks complicated…
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

You use a fuel line dissconect tool.
If you leave the system open you need to change the dryer too

With no freon in the system the A/C won't turn on.
