Does anyone have a broken extra '48-52' rear view mirror?

Hi guys,

Somehow I lost the bracket to my rear view mirror. I still have the mirror itself, I cleaned it up and painted it a couple of years ago. Looks good. I hope to not need to buy a whole reproduction mirror just to get a bracket.

So does anyone have an old nasty or cracked interior mirror that you won't be using, one with a bracket that I could restore myself?

Not looking for a free one, I'll buy it with mailing costs too. Or we can trade for some of my extra stuff if you can use something.

Thanks in advance for any leads...
Tom

This is the sort of camaraderie and cooperation that makes this form so appealing .

Yep, Allan I hear you. I really enjoy this forum. Where I live there aren't too many guys nearby that know about these trucks and we don't have a single junkyard to pick from that has anything left for '48-52. Everything was rusted to oblivion or crushed for scrap a long time ago. So this 'family' of ours is just what I need to get through this restoration.

PM sent to 51Panelman.
