Is the front axle interchangeable between 42-47 1/2 ton - 1-1/2 ton?
Just pulled my front axle from the 46 halfton tonight and its bent in the middle. I'm picking up this truck next week, I think its a 1-1/2 ton:
Will I be able to swap the front beam into my 1/2 ton, using the 1/2 ton spindles? Are the king pin's different sizes? I was planning on using the rebuild kit with bearing instead of bushings, but it appears there are separate part numbers for 1/2 tons and 122" wheel base fords.
