Do all 2014 F250 4x4s have 4 inch rear spring blocks?

The 2014 F250 4x4 trucks I've seen arriving at 2 different Ford dealers are equipped with 4 inch tall spring blocks in the back, like F350s have.

Is this true for all 2014 F250s? The 2012s and 2013s have 2 inch blocks.

I just installed 4 inch blocks on my 2013 F250.
Embrace the rake.

maybe Ford is doing a "cheap fix" to help with their WEAK payload capacity, little extra height so when the truck drops like a S10 the owner wont notice it.

Very well could be. It's funny that the F-450 is dinged for stiff ride when loaded in that shoot-out test but the 250/350s squat under just the weight of your eyes when you look at them. Maybe the 2wds will get the 2" block so ball contact on a turned over gooseneck ball isn't an issue.

OP, digging the SCSB

Arrow

Does make sense with all the complaints with the '11 thru '13 squat issue on the F250.

If anything...it shows that FORD does indeed listen to the customer.

My 2014 F250 4x4 has the 4 inch blocks. I also have the plow prep package and the 12,500 pound trailer package (whatever that means). All the other 14's on the lot I looked at had the 4 inch blocks as well, at least the 4x4s I saw.

Do you have that TSB number? My new to me 2011 F250 'squats' some with just the 5th wheel hitch installed. I'll be installing new gas shocks as well(very minor help) as the Firestone Ride-Rites regardless, but if a 4" block will help, I'll do that as well.

looks like i was right then, sad that Ford just threw 4" blocks at their trucks instead of fixing the real issue. WEAK SPRINGS Some of you might not like this but ill say it again Dodge is looking better to me ever day lately

I can deal with a little squat, I WONT deal with a weak front end, weak trans and to top it off, a dpf that plugs every 50k.

Can't please everyone... (that comment is not directed to you 2ndstroke)

For $300, get a set of airbags. Or custom springs. There are options, mod the truck to make it work for you.

Stock sucks!
