2005 f250 rear brakes

I just replaced the right rear caliper due to the caliper sticking and getting the rotor hot. after replacing the caliper the brake pedal is mushy. I do not recall it being that way before replacing the caliper. I have bleed that brake line but still have a mushy pedal. It does stop the truck but I feel slightly uncomfortable with a mushy pedal. am I missing something? thanks

Bleed all the brakes that may help. Some air may have made its way to the other brakes In the system.

When you put on the new caliper, is the bleed screw on the bottom or the top?

Then that is your problem. You were sold a drivers side caliper for your pssenger side. The bleed screw has to be on top to work properly. You'll never get all of the air out of that caliper.
