That is one sharp looking truck. You need to get it Chris, it could be very useful for your business. And if you need to sell it at some time, you should be able to get out of it what you paid for it. This looks to be a win-win.
Looking at all the other pictures (Not sure how to post them.) I noticed that the flathead has the water outlets in the middle of the block instead of the front. I have seen that before. What does that tell us about the engine?
It has a beautiful interior as well.

It's a 59-series engine, still 239 I assume, front-mounted distributor, the different heads. Integral bellhousing, 85 HP. There are a number of inaccuracies in the ad on their website. But it sure doesn't look like widowmakers, there's a good shot of the spare and I don't see the Hump of Death.
1951 Ford Boom Truck
To be honest, the engine seems to need a tune-up, judging by the video.

BTW I didn't see a price? Is it one of those, "if you have to ask..."??
#21
The home page has it listed at $18,000.
We have several people in the Springfield/Joplin area (including my parents) and I'm sure one of us would gladly offer an overnight stay and probably supply dinner as well to make your road trip easier.
They also have a 55 F100 for sale, but they are asking $24,500, although it is a nice looking truck.

They are a consignment dealer only and they are checking with the owner on my offer. They are helping me on getting a price on my mustang too. They can t take it on trade.

Stu, are these widow makers in the OP?

Pretty sure that's just some gold or bronze paint on the outer rim. They look like my old widow makers, except mine had more of the outer rim painted a different color. And these may be 20s. But then again, I'm probably wrong.
