1991 Ford Bronco problems.... Please help! Shutting off and not starting
I have a 1991 Ford Bronco XLT with a 5.0 L v8 engine. Automatic transmission. It has been sitting for about a year occasionally started. I recently insured it and when I went to use it for the first time the radiator busted and I had to buy a new one for about $300. I replaced the spark plugs, I changed the battery, I put new gas. So the truck starts and stays on for a while but then randomly shuts off out no where. When I try to restart it , sometimes it won't or it will take a while. Is there any reason at to why this is happening ??

Erod,
Get one of these ( ).
You will save money and time diagnosing! I just bought one and within a day I had all of my codes read, and repairs done. Best thing I have EVER purchased!

The distiributor gets hot and the magnet inside loses it's ability to regulate the spark, so you get no spark.
Solution is to have the distributor rebuilt (or diy) complete with the pip, stator, icm.
Or the really cheap way is to live with it. Just wait for the engine to cool before running for home.
