2006 long bed weight
Does anybody know the weight of a bare long bed? No bedliner, no spray in liner, no tailgate, no taillights, no aftermarket bed rails etc.
I have it sold and need to remove it at the guys house after that it's on him.
I'm just trying to get an idea how many friends I need to hit up to gitter done. Is there any way possible with 2 guys lifting and one to drive the truck out from under it?
I'm going to borrow a bobcat to set my new (to me) utility body on but I don't have it yet, and I don't want to bother the bobcat owner too much since he actually uses it to work.

I unbolted mine and lifted one side with my engine hoist.
It was not under nay stress even with the boom all the way out
to the 500 Lb max point. One easy way to get beds off is to
remove the rear bumper and that way your not lifting it as high.
6 guys and bumper off and all you have to do is clear the tires.
That way your not risking anyones back.
