I have had a 48' F1 for about 6 years. Because of health problems I had to move to location that had no place for my f1. Earlier this year I decided to rent a 10x30 storage building and convert it a shop For the past couple of months I have been preparing to work on my '48 after storing it In a friends Leaky barn for nearly 3 years
Since then I have come to learn how much this "darksidder" still has to do on the truck.
One of the fist things I have to do is change the rear end because the F150 it came from has to wide to wide a stance for the rear finders
I obviously did not do my homework before starting the project .
The truck is striped to fame so change the rear end should be easy to change before correcting other mistakes I find.
If someone can provide a list of 9"rear ends that will fit the r1. I will be start over
NOTE: the 48" has a 351w , a c6, with a dive shaft cut and balanced for that equipment

Mine 9" came off a 1968 Bronco. Bolt on fit with the exception of the shocks and cutting down the drive shaft.

57-67 F100 is direct bolt in. 68-72 F100 bolts in but need to modify the spring perches.
