2004 6.0 excursion p0401

I had an issue with lots of white smoke. A p0401 code, then the smoke stopped. I removed the egr and cleaned it. All seamed good until two weeks later. Now I have smoke again. Its seems to be only after it is warm. Please help. Do I need a NEW egr valve?

Sounds more like an egr cooler is leaking coolant into your intake the white smoke is steam. park facing down hill over night then pull your EGR valve out and see if it's wet down inside the intake manifold.

I've read a lot of posts on this, and I do think you are right. I have it at the dealer for a diagnosis. I just need to know for sure before I try to take something like this on.

My dealer has been good to me in the past. I hope they give me a good diagnosis.
