Question changed the UVG and still have P0678 Code

I decided to change out the gasket instead of trying to fix the harness with the clips and I am still getting all even codes for the glow plugs. is it possible that the GPCM is bad and if so is there a way to test it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a whole bank showing as bad, then yeah, it's most likely the GPCM.

There is no way to test it, to my knowledge.

Where are you located? If you have someone close-by that's a buddy who also owns an Excursion with a 7.3 or a 6.0, or a buddy who owns a California prepped F250 with a 7.3, or a friend who owns any 6.0, or 6.4L PSD, you can see if they'd let you swap their GPCM into your truck to see if it clears up your codes.

Even if you don't, smart money say's you need a new GPCM.

Look for chaffing on the harness or the main connector on drivers side. Not common but a real close look may find a wear spot.
