well a few of mine, sorry lacking pics on some parts but ehh....

first, horns (the bracket after some sanding and soaking in CLR)

second tails and front lamps (originals were badly cracked and faded so they were replaced anyways with what I wanted), horns are working now again over looked usually...

also gave the truck a good bath, makes her look like new.

Put the tool box back on, which makes the truck have a younger more youthful look to it.

put a POW/MIA decal on my tail gate to show my support for those who are gone but not forgotton/armed forces

one I did a while ago, the battery, usually another item overlooked by most people...

another project I did a while back (and my favorite mod so far...) wood trim, still haven't put all the pieces in, and may not put them all in, mainly just wanted to replace the XLT trim pieces on the dash, other then that I am happy with it as is

and one final over looked item in general, the bulbs...I replaced almost every one so far, just have one or two others to deal with

Nice! Didn't the EB trucks have a pattern like this for the trim?

.

I have been wanting to do this to mine also, did you have to take them off, or just put a covering under it and paint them while attached?

Took em off.. Anyone that doesn't is too lazy. It's super simple to take em off..

I sanded em down to nearly bare metal and primer em and them high heat enameled them cause they get beat on by the sun...

...If you do paint your calipers make sure you tape off the notches where the caliper slides , and lube them good , don't want sticking calipers , pay attention to details ....

not sure, but the wood came out of a Mark III truck that was a flair side, so I pulled what I could since it looked so nice....

.....I wasn't talking about the piston , its the slides that go into the V notch that holds the caliper on , you don't want to paint that , it needs to be paint free and lubed , the caliper moves at that point , don't know how you cleaned and sanded and primed and painted them with the brake line attached ??? must have been a bitch , lazy ??, i would have taken the line off and do the work on a bench , when i seen this thread about detail i was interested because i like detailed work , looks like just a couple cans of spray paint , sorry i was just disappointed .....

Sanded it right there on the truck.. Wasn't bad.. Primed them with a thin coat of high heat and then painted em..

Idk how much more someone could do with something like this.. Without buying new.. If your dissappointed post a pic of your front suspension.. And show if you've taken any time and though to touch it up..

One thing I do first thing when buying one of these Fords is silicone reseal the rain gutters!!! The factory sealant in that cracks and leaks on all of them by now with the age our trucks have now!
