0w40 motor oil?

Any oil recommendations for an 08 with 100k on the motor? Use to run Rotella 0w40 in all my VW diesel and it worked great...was wondering if it would be a good oil for the my new to me 08 F450.

Since you are in Canada you will want a syn. for the colder winters. Hopefully some of our other owners from the far north will chime in.

regardless you must use a diesel oil and it must be CJ4 rated. As long as it meets that requirement then it is worthy of consideration.

Actually I looked this oil up when I saw this, actually looks impressive. Toyota and other manufactures I have seen have gone to this 0W style synthetic oils and claim improved fuel mileage. I just might have to try it!
