I'm not sure what we can tell you to do about it, you just need to fiddle with it until it fits right. If the hood is bent, no amount of adjusting will fix it.

First, WD40 is NOT a lubricant! WD stands for Water Displacing not lubricating. Throw it away so you aren't tempted to use it for the wrong purpose or use it on your snow blower to displace the water to reduce rusting after the snow on it melts.
The hinges must be taken off to access the hidden pivot, free them up, and lube properly with some good lithium grease, NOT oil. Do an advance search on "hood hinges" and my user name, I have posted several times the proper method.

You'd best have a word with them AX, they've been mis-selling the product as a lubricant for too many years then!

Posting a PDF.....place the pdf file somewhere online that you can create a link to....then post the link in your text here...for example

http://www.waynewaldrep.com/pictureh.../Magnum500.pdf

If I wanted to make it show up I'd just open the PDF and use "snipit" to create a jpg then post it as a jpg image. That may be the long way around but it will work. Good luck...hope this helps.

I highly doubt anyone here has ordered both kits and compared them. If i wanted to know the answer, I'd pick up the phone and call Mid Fifty!
