nat gas conversion

Hello all!
We are converting a 2013 E450 bus to natgas. We need to pull the heads and upgrade them. What is the best way to pull the heads and how long are we looking at to r&r them?
thank you!!!

You might pose this same question in the engine specific sub-forums: Performance, Engines & Troubleshooting - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Within the Modular Motor areas someone should have helpful advice about removing the heads.

You'll need to pull the engine, I've had a friend blow head gaskets, no room to do them with it setting in the frame without jacking the body, my friends mechanic did that the first time, the second he pulled it, he's hard on his vehicles.

Yep, I was afraid I'd get that answer. Thank you for the insight.

I say convert it, and drive it till you gotta replace the heads, they're disposable anyway.
