7.3 workstock
Where are you pulling at, and what kind of HP does it take to be competitive with the chevys and dodges in your area? What mods? Injectors, turbo, etc.
Whats the hardest rule to get around in your workstock/streetstock class?
Just trying to get a idea of what to shoot for, and wondering whats working for other folks. In my area I'm sure I'll have to be knocking on 600HP to touch the dodges.. Lets hear it

To make 600hp, you're going to need at least a 71mm turbo or a 68mm FMW.. Most work stock class rules state that you must run a "stock appearing turbo"... There are no 71mm stock appearing turbos, much less a stock appearing turbo running a 68mm FMW. LOL

Stock appearing turbos kinda depends on what they want to allow... I would imagine that a GTP38R should pass as stock appearing for most trucks, but I've heard of some with 38Rs that weren't allowed to pull in work stock. So if that's not allowed, I guess the D66 or the 66mm setup from Barder Turbo Service would be the best stock appearing chargers available without getting something custom made.

where i'm at in Western Indiana and Eastern Illinois region, i'm able to pull work stock with my billet S366. because of Schieds, Danville Performance, and Fleece being in the same region they all produce some good running trucks in the 2.5/work stock classes. a few of the Dmax's in this area are over 700hp and are in both classes.
