spark plug gap

My book says .044, your's should be close. Is the decal still on the engine or radiator crosspiece?

It is a very good idea to check every plug before installing them. I put in a set yesterday and four out of eight were too close.

If you don't have one, get a Haynes manual. The others aren't as informative.

spark plug gap

well ust got done with plugs on 351m 78
and was figuring .046 would give me a litle extra spark...
wrong she didn't start(original box and coil(not for long))

but start at .044 exact close em if need be
if you hoped up your ignition open the gap
thats why you add power to ignition for a larger spark
