Auto to Manual swap...what do I need?

I might be picking up a 2WD '88 F350 with the 460 and C6 this weekend.

I have a KPD60 from an '88 F350 that I want to use to convert it to 4WD.

I have a built 466/NP435/205 from my '78 F150.

If I take my '78's drivetrain out and drop it into the '88, is there a way I can hook up the manual clutch linkage? Or did all these trucks come with hydro clutches? The T18 is hydraulic right? Could I get a T18 bellhousing and clutch kit to bolt between my 466 and 435 and have it work? Or do I need the whole T18?

I'd really like some answers before this weekend Thanks!

I can't tell you about much else but ford switched to hydraulic clutche in 82/83, but how hard can hooking up a manual clutch be if you know what your doing and can clear all the linkage? I'm probably going to do a manual conversion on mine when I slap a PSD in there

I want this to have a factory look and be reliable. I don't want to ghetto-rig my '78's clutch and brake pedals into the truck. If you've looked at the 70's-era clutch linkages, it's not as simple as running one rod from the pedal to the clutch fork...
