I see a bunch of diesel Excursions on Washington state Craigslist.
2005 Ford Excursion 137 WB 6.0L Eddie Bauer
Welcome to Milam Auto the Northwest's number one New Mazda and Pre-owned Dealership | 2005 Ford Excursion Limited
This one has a couple mods (tires, metal CAC), but I wouldn't turn my nose up at it:
2004 Ford Excursion XLT 6.0L 4X4
And a few more.

There were less than 4000 2005 eddie bauer with the 6.0 made! They are hard to find, it took me a year to find a 1 owner with less than 60k on her The price is supply/demand, what you are willing to pay. Mine was 30k 3 years ago, now with a lot of mods and 105k i have no regrets about my godzilla purchase truck!

WOW......
Well, I guess it's gonna be plan-B!!
After doing a bit more research, I decided to ask my local Ford Service Dept what it would cost to do a head gasket job on my "new" 6.0L Excursion.......
He said it would only cost about $7500 if there was nothing else to do!
I suppose I'll be doing my second choice!
Thanks to all who offered suggestions.
Hope you all have good head gaskets!
Regards,
Rick
