400 to 460 swap?

I have a 1978 F250 with the 351m/400 with a C6. I was wondering if anyone has done a newer 460 engine swap. I want to swap to something fuel injected with more towing power. I have found a 1987 f350 f.i. 460 w/auto trans for really cheap. Is it a possible swap? Will it work with my
t-case? Any forseen problems I might run into? Any advise is appreciated.

Lots of issues to be delt with. Computer, all the wireing, is it a C6 or 4EOD? You will need a rear axle with a speed sensor, fuel pump upgrades and a ton of things you haven't even thought of. You may need to lengthen/shorten the drive shafts. Better swap would be a carbed 460.

Also, if your looking for more power and better mileage, you might look into a 6bt 12valve cummins swap.. Fairly easy to do, and affordable if your willing to part a truck out or wait for good deals.
