2000 expedition seat swap to 95 psd
Got the passenger seat installed yesterday. had to use the subframes from old seats which weren't stock but it worked. I had to drill three new holes in bottom of seat but it worked! Not to thrilled about all the unused seat controls on driver side not being used but I'll swap the frames on driver side soon and post up another pic. I got the seat pretty dirty on install so a good shampoo will be in order when I'm finished with the other side. Any suggestions on a console? I couldn't use the one from the expedition b/c it was too long.

the new seats are VERY nice and fitted better to support my back.
I noticed that the manual adjustment for lumbar is SO much nicer than any lumber I've ever had in any vehicle. Some manual lumbars just have a lever that rotate about 90 degrees for maximum support. This one has the big **** on the side and as you rotate it really pooches out when it's turned up to the max.
Very nice.
The height was about 1.5" taller than old seats. The seats are definitely FAR superior to the old seats for comfort. I have a real stiff clutch and I could feel my back cave into seat when shifting and made the truck harder to drive.
After new seats were done I rode out last night and it was much more support when shifting than before! Glad I made the swap on all accounts! A saggy headliner can sometimes touch my head if I sit really tall in the seat so I'll have to fix that. I probably have about 4" of head clearance if headliner was where it's supposed to be.

Chris, That's a really nice looking console. I wish I could have put one of those in but since I'm low on funds, I went ahead and made one. This was my first time wrapping vinyl and I think it came out really nice.
I used some brushed aluminum for the face plates and bought the cup hold from advance for 7 bucks. Including the vinyl, I got about $50 in it using some MDF we had laying around. I hope I can get it bolted down good.
Taking it home tonight!

that is a nice box. i'm thinking of doing something similar if i can find some good bucket seats in a junkyard. i think the exposed metal/fasteners look is just right for our trucks.
my wife just bought me a cheap sheet metal brake from harbor freight (not generally a fan of HF stuff, but it was one of her better birthday gifts), so it seemed like a good project for that.
