I guarantee if the US market had gotten those they would have sold like hotcakes. Turbo 6-cyl and a 6-sp... Last Rancheros we got were enormous pigs with a hood longer than the bed.

 

For those who have never seen one, it is a 2005 FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) F6 Tornado. 4.0L straight six, DOHC, turbocharged, intercooled, 6 speed manual. Just under 400hp from factory, mine was tickled to make about 500 and still got 25mpg. 0-60 times in the 6 second range from factory.
