A/C Help 2006 f-550 bus 6.0l Diesel
I have a 2006 f-550 krystal bus with a 3 a/c units with 2 compressors, 3 evaporators, 3 condensers. My middle system runs on aftermarket compressor with a after market condenser put inf front of the stock condenser and uses stock fan to cool it.
My drivers system and my rear system both run on the OEM compressor. I am having trouble with the OEM set up. According to the stickers says its suppose to have 10.5 lbs, once i filled that my pressures were way to high, so showed over charged. I took out 2 lbs and my pressures were at 30 and 200 so seemed normal, after running for 1 hour my low side raises to 45 psi high side 200. So it stops cooling as good. If it take some out system starts working. then when i start from cold engine my low side gets down to 10psi for the first hour of running. On this bus the condenser in front of the radiator is cooled by the stock fan and one on the side of the bus for the rear system with electric fans. but the both use the OEM compressor. The side fans run all the time which is normal because all the other buses we have do it. Any Idea what would cause my pressures to do that after sits in the sun and running for hour for my pressure to jump to 40. Also why would they use the same fan for 2 condensers in front for the radiator for the 2 different systems. Seems like its messing with my pressures.
