no radio or antenna but I want tunes!

Has anyone ran an amplifier with no head unit for their mp3 players? My truck, 76 f250, didn't come with a factory radio so I have no antenna and I don't want to drill a hole for one.

I was looking at the PXi50.2 | KICKER and thought that would be great for what I want but the price is a little high for my liking. I mean if it comes down to being the only option i'll buy it but does anyone know of any alternatives for it?

I only need to run 2x6.5" speakers so i'm not sure if i could just use a regualr little 100w amp directly connected to my mp3 player.

You could buy a head unit for a faction of that price that you could correctly connect to an amp that'll provide the ability to connect an mp3 player (Auxiliary input).

Otherwise I'd try a $3 headphone/RCA converter cable...
