1955 F100 Build (R)
#16
Got stuff from the painter today! Here's the cab still on the trailer.
Fixing to go unload at the shop! Looks as if it's in good shape.
Here's the hood. Had a few penny size dents. Nothing major though!
Here's the grill along with out extra fender and hood. As well as our fenders that we're using. Loving that baby puke green primer!
Shaving the cowl vent, glove box, and ash tray. Will probably start that tomorrow after work!

Yes Sir, you've got a production line going there. I love the lines of a1955 F100--Cab, Hood,Grill and Tuck bed! I look at a 1954 F100 very similar to the 55. It was priced at 14K and although it look good, it leaked aroung the side windows, front window cowling and Air vent. It steered like a Old Mac Truck and since it stands higher than most of the cars and trucks in the latter years I could only raise it on my lift approx.4ft before it came within 3 inches of my garage celling plus I couldn't afford to buy it nor fix it up anyway. It's still for sale and has been for over a year.
Keep up the good work but remember the Sabbath day for rest and prayer! ron

Sorry guys no pictures this weekend! Had a graduation party Saturday and today I spent the day with the family. Just bought a big order of patch panels from LMC that should be here the end of this week. I'll post some small stuff through out the week, but major stuff will probably be next weekend!
Have a nice day! Trevor

It really looks great, good luck with it. If you want to learn how to use your MIG to weld the patches in check out AXracers tutorial - it is great and a good way to learn. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-practice.html
