Wheel ?'s offset/backspacing and tire ?'s

I know, I know.... another wheel/tire question. I've searched until I've started seeing double but I need some opinions here.

This truck:

Looking at getting some different wheels/tires. I like the stock wheels but they are only 7" wide which isn't gonna cut it. Currently running 295/75/16's.

I'm going to order a 2" leveling kit and ideally would like to run a 34" tire on a 16" wheel. I'm used to big lifts and extreme offsets but I'd like to find something that will stick out slightly that won't rub like crazy.

What about:
16x8 -20 offset
16x10 -24offset

Think I can get away with a 315/75/16 with either of those?

Also here is the wheel I'm looking at....opinions?

My other thought is to run a 10" wide wheel with a large offset and 295/75's again. If I do ever decide to lift the truck I wouldn't have to go with a different wheel.

I personally like the amount mine stick out i think its around 2" and its a -12 offset (18x10 XD Monster). How far out do you like it though its all in what you want really.

I'm more concerned about the fitment with a larger tire. The biggest reason for a new wheel is the width and wanting to run a 12" wide tire.

I don't mind spacing the bumper or minor trimming but not looking to cut sheet metal to fit tires. An offset that sits flush with the fender would be ok too....

EDIT: do you have any pics of your set up?

Yup, non of the side I can take one tomorrow but also 2" is a complete guess i have not measured its only a rough guess. Also stock height with some rubbing on the plastic wheel well at full lock both ways. I'm doing a leveling kit and rear block for a small lift. I have an 04 with an 05 front end conversion, i believe on the 04 bumpers the plastic valance needs to be trimmed.

That looks amazing. That pic also sold me on the 2.5 Zone kit. If you get a chance, I'd like to see a shot down the side.

I may step up to a 17 or even 18" wheel for a bigger selection.

Thanks! Those pics are without any lift FYI I am still waiting on parts. I'll snap a pic after work today. Personally I think my front end needs more black now to match so I think I'm gonna attempt to paint my headlights black.

Harley style heads would compliment everything you've done so far.

4.5" Rough Country lift, 35x12.5x18 Toyo M/T's, 18x9 Gear Dominator 0 offset 5" backspacing. Sticks out about 2".

Ok after several hours of research I think I've found out the answer....as long as I stick with 4.5 backspacing and a 10" or less wide wheel (-12 offset)I should be ok with a level and 315/75/16's.

Just a side note but I hate shopping for wheels and trying to find a chrome one is even harder. I wish the Platinum could pull off black wheels but I think with the two tone and massive chrome front bumper, black wheels would clash.

Edit: I only need about 1.5" to level the truck so I may try Zone's 1" shackle kit...

I did something similar with mine, but i went with the Bilstein leveling kit.
I am getting larger fender flares soon, probably 2.5 inch Bushwackers

It is my understanding that an "off-set value of a rim" is a part of the axle design . It determines where/how the pay- load is transferred on "wheel bearing" thru the axle . By choosing a rim of different off-set value will change the location of forces on wheel bearings and will cause premature failure (especially those who attempt to tow heavy payloads and fifth wheel type of trailers ).

I pull approx. 12 K lbs 5th wheel with approx. 4K lbs. of hitch weight (payload). When I was considering of changing tire rims , this subject came up and I was discouraged by the reasons explained above . It might also have legal consequencies as well , at least in my case .

here are the pictures they are -12mm offset and i believe 4.53 backspacing and no rubbing on leafs with 35's.

This is a pic of the front. My bumper's valence sticks out on the sides so i wanted to make sure you can see what it actually looks like.
