i have a Haynes book you buy from any auto parts store. Its OK to help someone with simple do it yourself things but its no good for anything other than that. When i did my ball joints i needed some help with pulling the axle shaft and the Haynes book had one small black and grey picture and three steps to remove it. Nothing that helped me, this site helped 100% better but if you need a good manual the CD's you buy off evil bay are the best you can get, they are just as good as a Ford manual that dealers have

Hi mikecrom83! Welcome and thanks for finding your way to FTE!
There are subscription services like ALLDATA that offer access to all shop manuals. That may be a cheaper alternative for you.
Of course, this forum can be a gold mine of information. Ask questions, ask for recommendations, tell us what you're doing with your truck.
As mentioned, check youtube.com for "HOW TO" videos. You'd be surprised what people are posting on Super Duty maintenance and repair.

Hi mihecrom83, in regards to question about shop manual, I was able to purchase a ford shop manual for my 2003 F-350 from a company called HELMINC.com. Granted, it cost about 235.00, but it has every thing from code listings to front ends and a lot more. The manual saved me a lot of money in shop time alone. Just got down with upper & lower ball joints. And of course this site is the next best thing, very, very imformative. go luck in your search.
