Lowered f100 rear suspension issue

I have a 69 f100 shortbed 240/3sp lowered. I did not lower the truck. my air shocks are busted kinda glad anyway. They rode like hell. Went to replace my rear airs with gas magnums Monroe's. I couldn't get the new ones to fit. About 4.5 inches bigger. The leafs have been put under the axle to lower vehicle. Whats easiest way I could put gas shocks on?

So you're saying that your rig has an axle flip. No, stock spec shocks won't work - at least not correctly.

What you need to do is measure full suspension compression, full suspension droop, and then call Shockwarehouse.com and to their tech folks to spec some shocks for your situation.

HIO Silver is right.

the rear axle flip lowers the truck about 4-5". thats why the stock shocks are too long.
