4 bbl. Carb for stock 302 Ford
I have a stock 302 only headers & C-4 automatic in a 52 F-1 which will not be raced and need 4 bbl. carb suggestions. Would Holly 570 or possibly the Edlebrock preformer. Which manifold would you suggest?

I am using a Edelbrock #1406 -- 600 cfm on a stock 302. It's on a mid 80s mustang aluminum manifold . The Edelbrock manifold is probably better , but i got the mustang one dirt cheap. If you were going for more H.P and was up grading the engine ,i would probably suggest the Holley. Everybody has their own likes between those two carbs., easy to get a heated thread started, L.O.L.

Also consider Summit's house-branded 600 cfm carb. They bought the 3310 tooling from Holley, did some upgrades, and marketing as their own. Replacement part are, yes, Holley. Current price is about $265.
BUT, a factory Autolite 4100 with a 1.12 stamp in the clockface is a 600 cfm. EZ to rebuild like the 2100. A 4100 with a 1.08 stamp is 480 cfm.... also good for a lil 302.
