Quick question for you guys. I'm looking for replacement thermostats for a 1950 F3 with a 239 V8. I found this page which has several options. Not sure which one to go with.

Part numbers that look like they should work.
1BA-8575-A
1BA-8575-B
C2AZ-8575-A
C2AZ-8575-B

Does anyone know why these differ and how I know which one to use?

 

Looks to me like the C2AZ models are for the OHV Y block engines and the 1BA series is for the flathead 239 V8. A is 160 deg, B is 180 deg.

 

Thanks for the quick reply! Much appreciated. I need the 1BA for the 239 flathead V8. The old 'stats are 160 deg so I'll go with the A.
