Air ride on a CV frontend

Im doing a frame off on my '68. I'm thinking I want to run airbags. I'd like to run Ridetech Shockwaves on the cv clip. My measurements say its gonna be tight fit to run them. I'm thinking I may have to fabricate my own upper control arms. Can anybody shed some light on this?? Thanks

I'm pretty sure there are bags out there that will work with the stock cv setup without modifying or fabbing new upper control arms. Have you searched around for bags or called any companies? They should be able to tell you exact measurements of there bags inflated and deflated. Ill watch this one as ill need to know the same thing when I put a crown Vic front end on my 66 crew cab and bag it.

There're bags that will fit. I just like the packaging of the Shockwaves because the shock is made in it. Like the stock coilover. I emailed Ridetech. Waiting on a response.
I'm open to any ideas though. Anybody got pics of shock placement and regular bags on a cv clip?

I haven't looked to much into the cv swap but I know some had bags on there's cant say if they were shockwaves or not most likely not though. I've heard good things on the shockwaves from people using them on there muscle cars I am thinking of putting them on my 68 charger. For my 66 crew with a cv swap I was planning on using slam bags SS series I think a guy on here has them on his truck with a cv swap and is using the SS slam bags he said he liked them and would use the same ones again if he had to redo his truck again I think his name was cmag68? everybody that I've talked to that used slam bags on there vehicles recommends them.

What bags did you ever decide on for your CV front end. Later.
