Something to think about. I'll check clearance under the cab to see if adding an additional bracket to raise the assembly higher and out far enough from the frame to clear the brake cable. I don't think it would be that difficult to use another location to have both the filter and steps and close enough to use the provided hoses.

Do you think there's enough clearance to use the upper DFCM bolts to mount the filter?

No, I tried that. I'll have to try a few things to see.

I'll try this weekend and post my input.

Perfect timing! I was going to order this filter set up and didn't even think about clearance with my amp steps. Please keep us informed on whether or not this works. I think you will pull it off with minimal clearance. Some pics after the install would be great too!

Any word yet from anyone if the filters will fit with the Amp steps? I measured about 6 1/2" of clearance between the inside edge of the step (when retracted) and the frame rail.
