Hi from Anchorage Alaska
Hi there. I'm just a good ol country girl from Tennessee that transplanted to Alaska. I have a 2000 F150 that is my baby and a 2003 Ford Windstar that I use when carting the kiddo around. My daddy is a mechanic so I grew up around vehicles and tore my first motor down when I was 16. Unfortunately my daddy still lives in TN so my and the hubby are in our on up here. Being in Alaska sure makes thing different when dealing with cars and trucks. You actually have to plug in a block heater to keep the darn things from freezing up and you run tires with studs in them so you can stop on the ice that's on the roads many months out of the year. 2 wheel drive trucks suck up here so you won't see me owning one. It's 4x4 off road package for me. Well just wanted to say hi to everyone!!

I really didn't think it would end. Last winter it was non stop snow and this one was slow to come then as soon as you thought it was over it would get you again. I woke up Saturday and said you got to be kidding me. Can't believe they extended the studs to the 15th though. Works for me though. I'm getting my summer wheels camo'd at Alaska Hydrographics in Palmer and they aren't done yet.
