Hi from UK
Names Kev and I am from the 'wrong' East Coast.....the East Coast of the UK.
Had a couple of F150's in the past mainly Harley Davidson editions with the last being a Saleen supercharged version.
Now though, I have jumped at the chance to own this piece of history...

From what I have been told it is a 1947 Ford which was bought new by D & K Schoeder in Reeder North Dakota.
It had the tipper bed fitted and then went to South West Grain to earn it's living.
Depsite this, the bodywork is absolutely fantastic with only a couple of small wrinkles to the passenger front fender. There is a dime sized rust spot on the corner of each door but otherwise, the chassis is straight and clean and the lovely patina on the paintwork makes me believe it has been well cared for.
Would love to know a bit more about the truck but I am thinking of getting a pal to reinstate the South West Grain logo on the doors and 'antique' it to match the rest of the truck.
Then drive the wheels off it.
I look forward to asking some stupid questions and getting flamed as a newbie...

Might look into changing the transmission for better daily driving but other wise leave as is.
It's a very rare truck over here so gets a fair bit of attention.
Kev
