56 F100 For Sale in Kansas

I saw this listed on Craigslist yesterday. Looks like a solid mostly original truck.

1956 f100 fat fender ford super cool/3rd owner/untouched detroit steel

That would be one that you leave the paint alone on it.

It is a very nice truck and priced very reasonable but wonder how it achieved the patina and rust through for a truck that's been in a garage since 1959

That is a nice looking truck. Is that a grease gun on the running boards? Cool.
That door art....is that antiqued work or is it real?

Based on those pictures, it could be a good truck for someone at a fairly decent price.

Good question! Maybe he means it was garage kept, but still driven and used as a work truck?

My SWAG is you see a period correct carbon tetrachloride fire extinguisher on the running board.

I hope he/she does show up on the forums. That was one nice looking truck...at least in the pictures. I think someone got a good deal on a nice truck. Trucks like that in that price range and apparent condition seem to come along pretty rarely in this area. So often people want several thousand dollars for rusted out shells that are completely torn apart.
