Squeaking from rear when going over light bumps

I've noticed that my truck squeaks slightly in the rear end when I go over light bumps just on the road. I hear it inside the cab with the stereo down and it's starting to drive me a little insane (along with the steering wheel creak).

What options do I have to make this go away?

Get underneath the truck with a can of lithium grease and start spraying bushings until you figure out which one is the culprit. If you have a sway bar, aftermarket or factory, start there.

You guys rock. Went and got some liquid wrench lithium grease and sprayed my bushings for the springs and shocks and boom - it's gone.

Went up front and sprayed the steering column tube where it meets the firewall (I want to say universal joint) and my steering squeak is gone!

Thank YOU!!!

Good to hear. The suspension squeak will probably come back as the grease wears off. Next time just spray a pair at a time. When the squeak stops, consider replacing the last set of bushings.

I just happen to be chasing a squeak now, and have narrowed it to the bushings on my Hellwig sway bar. New ones are on the way from Summit.

Wanted to say thanks for the post. I had taken much of the back seat area apart looking for a squeak I thought was in the cab.. Wasted hours looking.
The liquid wrench grease sprayed on the suspension bushings did the trick. A 10min fix.
When the grease wears off, I will locate the specific culprit and replace.
