I have a 2012 Lariat Ecoboost w/6.5 box. I have had the service Advancetrac warning light come on twice now since I have owned the truck. The first time it happened I was pulling my camper and I had a pretty strong crosswind. The second time it happened I was ice fishing and going through some deep snow where the rear end would fish tail.

I took it to the dealer both times and no code shows up. Apparently after so many key cycles the code clears itself.

Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks

 

Yes, it happened to me after using 4x4 in some muddy/snow conditions. After the week of hunting it came on during the trip home. The light ended up turning off never to come back. Obviously, a sensor didn't like something. It didn't cause any trouble for me though.

 

It seems weird since it never happened on my 2010 and I used that in more snow than this one.
