Wheeling spots

Hey guys, I'm interested if anyone knows of any GOOD fun wheeling spots that a lot of people can go to, even if their truck/SUV is stock. Preferalbly within an hour of CMU. I know of Silver Lake, Rocks and Valleys, and "the end of the world" here locally, but wondering if anyone else has some good spots. It will probably be a group of 4 vehicles going, and 2 of them have absolutely nothing done, but have 4WD. So I don't want to "tear them up" so to speak.

there are some nice trails and power lines over by me in big rapids. I've sunk my truck in a mud hole on the lines once or twice. BBender can confirm those as i believe the red truck made it out there a few times. Also i used to live up in Clare and there used to be some out and about over there as well.

There actually is a huge water hole in the corn field behind me. I'm really surprised the guy hasn't gotten his ranger out to play in it yet. They have been out there with bikes.

Yeah, I should also mention that the ranger is heavily modified on 44" tires with what sounds to be an EXTREMELY healthy engine in it.

Seriously though, I have heard of the powerlines up there in Big Rapids. We have gone on some pretty good trails by Newaygo years ago. Any of the state or national forests you can go and drive on. Just be careful if you wander off the trail and get stuck or do damage the DNR can come and give you a safe driving award.

Yeah I heard some people got busted for going through "The end of the world" locally here because the ruts get so deep. I went through it back in February and had a hell of a time. Just rather not get that award!

Just looked that up. Is there fun trails/holes for people with stock motors/trucks/SUVs? Have you been there before?

It's been 5-6 years but they got several large scramble areas to wheel in, and some wooded trails that would be fun in your truck if its been dry that week.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Something that has all around fun!

That's awesome! Might consider going there. That's only like an hour away! Hour and a half max.

There's Bundy Hill in Jonesville(Hillsdale area) right off of US-12. Haven't been there yet myself, but I've heard its pretty cool. Mild to Wild. Then there is Oakville Mud Bogg in Milan. Only a couple miles away from Milan Dragway. Its pretty cool. Not the biggest place. but its fun and legal.

Bundy is fun to wheel. Kinda like the dunes, fun no matter what ya bring. It's a gravel pit with out lying trails, lots of loose sandy/ rocky terrain and climbs/ elevation changes.
