REAR BRAKES ON F350

Ok, my shop manual is kinda silent on getting the brake drum off. I have a F350 with tandam wheels and I'm trying to get the drum off. Do you have to take the axle out too? Which is not a problem because I'm replacing the axle bearings and seals, but I just wasn't ready to do the brakes yet.

If it's like my F250, yes the axles have to come out. This will allow access to a nut (2 1/4, 1/2, or 3/8 - don't remember which), a lock ring -have to un-bend the tabs, and another nut.

You have my number, you can call me if you need to. Yes, the axle shaft has to come out, and the bearings removed.
