400hp build.

Hey yall! Its been a while since ive posted anything. I finished up my Dana 60 swap and finally got my truck on 35s and got a visor and cab lights. Ive been crazy busy with work and school thats why i havent posted anything.

But, i am starting to build a list of parts to come my way in the near future i am aiming for 400-425 rwhp. Nothing too crazy.

But here is what i got and a rough estimate of cost. This is also in the order that i will buy an install stuff because i dont have all the money for all the parts right now.
Let me know what yall think!

Rosewood Stage 2s $1200
T500 HPOP $450
E fuel $500 (i know 500 is cheap but i have a buddy)
Rifraff Arp head studs $550
IC radiator $200
Irate diesel S366 turbo kit ( kit includes Pedestal, Collector with 304ss up-pipes, 304ss intercooler piping and intake Y,
Two piece 4" downpipe (94-97 3" downpipe), Valley return fitting, Stainless oil supply and drain lines, 4" stainless intake tube for 4" filter
All hardware for installation $2200)
PHP Chip reburn $50
Comp cams 910 vavle spring $85
Chromoly push rods $225
Valair clutch $550
detroit trutrac for traction $600

Anythig im over doing, missing? Ect.?

That's rite on. What stageII's are you using? 160/80 or 180/80

180/80 with what you have planned will put you 450-470

I was probably gonna do 180/80s just because i like the idea of having bugger injectors than i need

Oh and is the s366 my best bet for a turbo? What are other options that i could do?

Looks pretty good. Your valair estimate is a little low if you need the clutch and flywheel, but other than that it looks good. Exactly what I want to do with my truck someday... You're in the Sac area arent you?

I dont think i wanna do that. im not going to do short cuts but i want to keep it as cheap and simple as possible.

And do you think its a good deal for the irate kit? Its $2200 and it comes with the turbo and everything to mount and IC piping.

What are some other options for full kits w/turbo?

Will a Garret 38R turbo not work on the earlier 7.3's? And why do you need head studs. Upon planning the build of my own 2001 7.3 for up to 450 hp I was told no need for head studs. That was with 160/100's and a 38r turbo and ts 6 pos chip with highest setting being 140 hp. I was also told my stock hpop would work just fine.

??
